Siwan's fun chat with Shin Dong-yeop on his YouTube show Zzanbro

On Siwan's birthday, the swans have received a wonderful gift of Siwan's interview of 16th episode of Zzanbro titled "What Happens When You Owe Something in the Drinking Arena?!"

Here is the video with official English subtitles... there are many sweet 'typical-Siwan' moments in this show. Very well edited, you will not realise when the 30 minutes went by.

Shin Dong-yeop’s first YouTube show, “Zzanbro,” is already receiving love calls. Including the channel’s name to the nickname “Zzanbro Shin Dong-yeop”... As Shin Dong-yeop is a famous entertainment star, his show, which features stars telling honest stories with a glass of alcohol, is receiving hot reactions from the celebrities and viewers.

Dong-yeop: A few Siwan's gems from the show!

I owed him so I really wanted to repay the favor. So some time ago [Drunken Zzanbro as usual] I was so drunk Sorry, I called him at that time and [Are you sleeping... Siwan?] Hey Siwan, blah blah - Please, bear with me.

Siwan: No, I was thankful. It was heartwarming and sweet. I know that vibe as an alcohol lover. It is actually harder to be Sober.

Talking about his show "Actors on a Trip" Siwan said "Finally, I made my obsession my job!" You can see the happiness on his face.

He confessed that the opportunity to have a meal with Byunghun was too precious as he is someone who has 'all the answers to be a great actor' - that Siwan just had to folllow it through. It was only later through others that Siwan realised that Byunghun felt awkward.

And while talking about this, in middle of the recording, in middle of the meal... Siwan just applied the lipbalm! It was so normally done that one can see how often he does this! :)

He even gave us an upclose view of the steak they were eating!

On his new drama Boyhood, Siwan mentioned,

Now I view the comedians and those who make others laugh... with (more) respect!

He is more comfortable being a nerd than a top dog...

He realised that he went to Cannes Film Festival before going to Busan Film Festival!

I can't believe my life!

He narrated that he was amazed when people abroad who looked good pointed at him and said 'Wow! F*@#! You were so good...' Siwan made the "Sh" sound which is the start of the word equivalent to the F-word... You can see that he's tipsy and had to control himself to not say word! :D

Now that I have experienced that I became clear about my life goal. I thought that I have to do a good acting that could communicate despite language. It has now become my goal.

This clarity of thought is what makes me fall in love with Siwan all over again!

When MZ said that he had watched The Merciless, Siwan just casually asked him...

"Isn't it very sad when I died on 'The Merciless'?"

You can see how happy Siwan became when MZ said that but you didn't die in the film!

Siwan gave absolutely clueless innocent expressions when he was asked/teaseed about his personal life and girlfriend... He acted as if he's too drunk and even complemented the bar (ignoring the topic of the conversation!)

'I didn't understand what you said... I apologize' :D :P

Siwan confessed that he used to get bullied by his elder sister... but now she doesn't do so anymore!

Siwan on Choo Sunghoon (Sexyama)...

'He sparred with me. He played like a dad playing with his son. He treats me like that .'

Siwan said that other than acting he has only two hobbies "Whiskey and Boxing"

You can see Siwan's passion for boxing when he is talking about the 3 minutes of sparring in boxing...

Later they moved to a different location, where Siwan gifted one of the finest bourbons to Dong-yeop... Pappy Van Winkle... he said... 'when you see this grandfather you must buy it!'

Overall a fun-filled episode that makes you want to drink!

Cheers to Boyhood! And Siwan!!!

Really a Happy Siwan Day!

PS - this episode was scheduled to release on the 6th of December, they released it on 30th November and English subtitles on 1st December... Really sweet of them to do this for Siwan's Birthday!
