Yim Siwan's collaborations with Urban Zakapa's Cho Hyuna

Siwan and Hyuna are good friends since about six years. They collaborated for the duet song Tick Tock Tick Tock just before Siwan's enlistment in the army.


Just before Siwan went to army, he recorded a song with Hyuna for his fans. It's a bittersweet song where two lovers are separated and are waiting to get back together.



It's incredible that though the song is about separation, it is a light hearted love song. I feel it is close to Siwan's personality - not taking things too seriously.

Siwan's narrative line means

"Time passes quickly, it's okay".

I simply love the nonchalantness of this song.

After the song, Siwan has collaborated twice with Hyuna.


Hyuna has a talk show on YouTube called Everyday is Thursday. Siwan was her third guest. Here is the video with English subtitles.

One can clearly see their fun-filled chemistry. Hyuna hinted later in an interview that one of her guests was with her for 5 hours, while the program itself is only 20 mins. Swans have deciphered that it was Siwan as the time on the screen behind Siwan clearly indicated that!


Here is my favourite part of the show... The fake song that Hyunah and Siwan composed spontaneously! Followed by an old fake song performance that Siwan did for the show "I am a Man". Hilarious!



In the interview, Siwan mentioned that Hyuna's song "Walking Backwards" is one of his favourites. Here is the original song. Here is the lyrics. It is truly a beautiful song.


Next Hyuna appeared in one of the short clips of Siwan's recent fan-concert - whY I aM in Seoul. It is a fun clip as a spoof on an old project of Siwan.
